Schimmel piano factory, the famous German brand offers us a new version of their famous upright C121, which is the flagship model of the "Classic" series. This new version includes several new features, but it is especially the new bridge that caught our attention: it was inspired by chevalet  that equip the pianos of the series "Konzert", whose profile is different and the mass is lower.

This new bridge transmits the vibration of the strings more effectively to the soundboard, resulting in a deeper sound and richer harmonics. The Schimmel Classic series features 3 sizes of grand pianos and 4 sizes of upright pianos, all made in the Braunschweig factory in central Germany.

The Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (Brussels Royal Conservatory) has recently chosen Hanlet to supply a new grand piano for its Jazz section.

Hanlet is offering a prestigious historical piano by the famous London manufacturer John Broadwood & Sons, dating from 1865.

This was the instrument of preference for Liszt, Chopin and Beethoven and has been fully restored according to the highest standards. It is today exactly as it was at the time of its making.

This is a true collector’s item, a magnificent grand piano of 2.40m made of Indian Rosewood, which deserves to be given pride of place by a connoisseur who can devote the appropriate space.

After recents tests, the famous French Music magazine "Pianiste" has awarded the upright piano Wilhelm-Schimmel W114 with the "Pianiste Maestro" award, in the October-issue of 2015.

The magazine speaks full of praise about the price/quality as well as the reliability and it’s solid construction, of pure European quality.

As a reminder, the brand "Wilhelm-Schimmel" is the entrance version of the famous German piano brand "Schimmel".
